Florida's records include substantiated complaints, sanctions, fines, and severity-classified deficiencies — 1,433 Florida facilities have a sanction or fine on record. Nursing homes are federally certified, star-rated, and fully covered in our state-by-state records — including who owns them. Assisted living is lighter-touch care under state rules only — which is exactly why checking state inspection records before choosing matters more, not less.
